Restaurants take you seriously

This app is great for people who dine out often and without advanced planning. The fact you are willing to put down a credit card shows the restaurant you are serious and are therefore more likely to get a reservation at a hot spot. Many restaurants clearly state they wont charge you if you miss the reservation however the common courtesy of a phone call or in-app cancellation is expected. The waiting list feature is excellent and popular based on the fact available tables are snatched up within seconds of becoming
available. If you watch your phone for a message from Resy that a table became available at the last minute you can almost always get a table at your restaurant of choice. This app is indeed excellent.
